Westport Man, 21, Charged After Sneaking Vodka Into Restaurant, Police Say
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport police have charged a 21-year-old Westport resident with breach of peace following an incident at a local restaurant.
William Patrick and three other males were kicked out of Viva Zapata, 530 Riverside Ave., for sneaking vodka into the restaurant in a water bottle on Saturday at about 1:30 a.m., police said.
Patrick and the three males reentered the bar, and were asked to leave by the bouncer, according to police.
Patrick took a fighting stance against the bouncer and swung at him, police said.

Orangetown Police Charge Central Nyack Man With Assault, Resisting Arrest
ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Orangetown police have charged a 30-year-old resident of Central Nyack with assault and resisting arrest following an altercation in Nyack, authorities said.
The arrest came about Friday after a uniformed officer observed the suspect, identified as LaQuan C. Simpson, in a fight on Depew Avenue in the village, police report.
While being placed under arrest, Simpson refused to cooperate and began flailing his arms, striking the officer in the mouth, according to officials.
