Brookfield Rep. Harding Applauds Bill to Increase Crosswalk Safety HARTFORD, Conn. -- State Rep. Stephen Harding (R-107) is hailing the House’s recent passage of legislation that would increase penalties for failure to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks and failure to exercise due care to avoid hitting a pedestrian or cyclist. Westport Taking Applications For Tax Relief Programs WESTPORT, Conn. -- The Westport Assessor’s Office and the Human Services Department are continuing to take applications for the state and local tax relief programs. The application date for the town and state credit programs will run through Friday, May 13.
