Ridgewood Organizes Forum On Tap Water Quality RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Richard Calbi, director of Ridgewood Water, will be hosting a forum on tap water quality with the Ridgewood A.M. Rotary Club, on Thursday, May 19, at 7:30 a.m. at the rotary club’s new location, Roots Steakhouse, 17 Chestnut St. Topics addressed during the forum will include the quality of local tap water, levels of lead and the issue of whether towns should impose proactive water restrictions or leave the matter for the utilities to decide. The event is open to the public.

An officer stopped a vehicle for traveling more than 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit throughout various roads in the Monsey area on Thursday about 7:15 a.m., according to officials. The motorist told the officer that he couldn’t find his license.
