Norwalk Community College Shows 'The Fitzgerald Family Christmas'
NORWALK, Conn. -- "The Fitzgerald Family Christmas," the 2012 movie depicting the struggles of a fractured family reuniting for the holidays, is the featured film Thursday, Dec. 8, at Norwalk Community College.
The movie screening is part of the college's monthly film series. "The Fitzgerald Family Christmas," starring Edward Burns and Connie Britton, will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Pepsico Theatre in the East Campus of the college, 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.

Demonstrations, Re-Elections Highlight Monore Historical Society Meeting
MONROE, Conn. -- The re-election of board members and displays of local historical artifacts were the highlights of the Nov. 11 annual meeting of the Monroe Historical Society.
There also were demonstrations and presentations about various aspects of local and national history, as well as a report on renovations of the three historical society buildings, at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library meeting, officials said.
