Students Going Door-To-Door For New Canaan High School Scholarship Drive NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan High School’s annual “Scholarship Sunday” will be held on April 3, from noon to 4 p.m. During the event, NCHS students wearing "Scholarship Drive" t-shirts will go door-to-door in New Canaan to collect donations for college scholarships. The NCHS Scholarship Foundation has provided financial assistance for NCHS graduates pursuing higher education since 1967. Bridgeport Library Book Sales To Benefit Literacy Volunteers BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Friends of the Bridgeport Public Library will host a series of Thursday and Saturday afternoon book sales throughout the month of April to benefit the Literacy Volunteers of Greater Bridgeport. Man, Woman Charged With Stealing From Sears In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a man and a woman on larceny charges, following an alleged shoplifting incident at a local Sears. Putnam Valley Teens Charged With Theft From Jefferson Valley Mall Sears YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a pair of 16-year-old residents of Putnam Valley on larceny charges after they allegedly tried to steal items from Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall. Lyndhurst's N.J. Food & Clothing Rescue Provides Easter Outreach In Newark LYNDHURST, N.J. -- N.J. Food & Clothing Rescue served food to approximately 120 people in need at Peter Francisco Park behind Newark Penn Station on Easter Sunday.
