Ramapo Police Charge Motorist Found Asleep In Front Of Station
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police have arrested a 38-year-old Suffern resident for driving without a valid license. Police received a report of a car parked in the road in front of the police station at 5:33 a.m. Saturday, according to officials. Officers responded and said they discovered a man sleeping behind the wheel of the car, which was parked partially on the road. Ramapo Police Arrest Motorist On DWI, Drug Charges
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police arrested a motorist on drunk driving and drug charges late Friday. The arrest came about after officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked in an isolated parking lot, police report. Crash During Car Chase In New Rochelle Injures Larchmont Officer
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A car crash Saturday near a New Rochelle parking facility during efforts to chase down a suspect who had stolen a BMW resulted in minor injuries to a Larchmont police officer, according to a lohud.com report. LEONIA, N.J. -- Leonia High School’s Butterfly Club is hosting a softball fundraiser between students and faculty on Monday to benefit an infant with a debilitating skin disease. The event is one of several initiatives organized by the club to help Makenzie Cadmus, a 3-month-old girl suffering from epidermolysis bullosa, an illness whose victims lack a critical protein that binds the layers of skin together.
