East Fishkill Police Save Life Of Overdose Victim, 30 HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- Officers from the East Fishkill Police Department saved the life of a 30-year-old man who overdosed in Holmes recently. Police responded to an unconscious person at a residence on Route 52 on Friday, June 17, just after midnight, officials report. Upon arriving, officers were led to a man unconscious on the floor; the officers observed that the man was barely breathing, and determined he had overdosed on heroin, according to police. Person Of Interest In Hit-And-Run Crash Facing Charge In Ramapo RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police arrested a person of interest in a hit-and-run case on a marijuana possession charge on Wednesday, June 22.
