Norwalk Home Destroyed In 3-Alarm Fire; Crews Forced To Pull Down Roof, Walls, Chimney A fast-moving fire in Norwalk destroyed a home on Monday, March 24, but, thankfully, no one was injured.  Firefighters were called to 2 Morton St. around 10:50 a.m. to a blaze at the two-and-a-half-story home. It happened on the northbound Exit 37 off-ramp in Killingly. Police say a car hit a guardrail, then slammed into a sign before sliding off the road and down an embankment.
