Alert Issued For 26-Year-Old Capital Region Man Missing Over Week Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a man from the region who has been missing for more than a week. Albany County resident John Jacob Malulan, age 26, of Cohoes, was last seen at his home on Wednesday, April 12, according to Cohoes Police. Malulan is described as being 5-foot-8 with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos covering both arms and wears glasses. Police said he may be in the New York City area. Animal Cruelty: Abandoned Dog Found Tied To Tree In Capital Region During Heatwave Police are asking for the public’s help after a dog was found abandoned and tied to a tree in the region. The heartbreaking scene was discovered Thursday, April 13, at the Pine Bush Preserve, near Old State Road and the City of Albany border, according to Albany Police.
