Greenwich Delegation Decries Governor’s Proposal To Cut ECS Funding GREENWICH, Conn. -- State Reps. Livvy Floren (R-149), Mike Bocchino (R-150) and Fred Camillo (R-151) are speaking out against Gov. Dannel Malloy’s proposal to completely cut Greenwich’s Education Cost Sharing funds. The governor released his updated budget proposal on Tuesday afternoon. Under his new proposal, Greenwich went from receiving a recommended amount of $3,037,524 in ECS funding to $0 for 2016-2017. Northern Valley/Old Tappan's Landeck Named Volleyball Coach Of The Year OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan Girls Volleyball Coach Melissa Landeck was named National Federation of High Schools Coaches Association Coach of the Year for New Jersey in the sport of volleyball at the New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association's luncheon. The event was held at the Pines Manor in Edison on Sunday, April 10. The Golden Knights went 26-0 for the season, winning both the Bergen County tournament and the Group 3 state tournament.

Araquel, who attends the Wooster School, competed in six events, the maximum allowed for each swimmer, making the finals in all six contests by finishing in the top 20 within her age group. In the finals, Araquel medaled in two events, finishing eighth and 10th in the 11- to 12-year-old girls’ bracket.
