Yorktown Police Arrest Peekskill Man On Warrants For Fireworks Violations YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 37-year-old Peekskill resident on a pair of warrants for unlawfully dealing with fireworks that stemmed from a prior case in the City of Peekskill. A Yorktown officer was on patrol on Route 202 when he said he observed the driver of a vehicle using a cell phone at approximately 11:40 a.m. Monday, police report. The vehicle was stopped on Route 35, at the intersection with Ridge Street, and the driver was identified as Alvin K. Anderson, according to officials.
