New London Resident Seriously Hurt, Firefighter Injured In 2-Family House Fire A fast-moving blaze ripped through a two-family home in New London, forcing firefighters to rush inside and pull a trapped resident to safety. New London crews got the call around 9:42 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, after a police officer on patrol spotted smoke billowing from the second floor of a two-and-a-half-story house on Shaw Street. Pittsfield Man Convicted Of Murder In Deadly Love Triangle Shooting A Pittsfield man will spend the rest of his life in prison after a jury found him guilty of murder and multiple gun charges in the deadly shooting of 43-year-old Teddy Cepeda.
