ID Of Plainville Firefighter Killed By Broken Piece Of Truck Outside Burning Home Released
Officials have identified the Connecticut firefighter killed in the line of duty death Sunday, July 27. Raymond Moreau, 59, had responded with the Plainville Fire Department to a structure fire at 45 Maria Road at approximately 6:20 a.m. Sunday, Connecticut State Police said at a press conference. Moreau was standing near a fire apparatus when a piece of the truck broke off and struck him, causing catastrophic injuries to his leg.
