Federal agents followed a tractor-trailer loaded with nearly 250 pounds of cocaine for more than 75 miles from South Jersey to New York before busting the driver and a co-conspirator in Yonkers, authorities said.
They were right behind when Eddie Velez-Pena, 33, of Yonkers, stopped the tractor-trailer in the Hunterdon County town of Hampton, NJ, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said.

A man wanted for attempted murder who goes by many names is at large and wanted by police in Westchester.
An alert was issued by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision for Jeffrey Medaro, age 50, who was convicted of attempted murder, among other charges more than 10 years ago.
Specifically, Medaro - who also goes by the names Jeffrey Medero, Jeffrey Montana, Jefferson Santa Rosa, and Girberto - was convicted of second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree attempted robbery, and criminal possession of a weapon in White Plains.

An alert was issued for 60-year-old Armendo Moreno, who is wanted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, who allegedly had “deviate sexual intercourse” with his 17-year-old victim in Westchester County.
